1. How many weddings do you shoot a year?  We typically shoot 20-30 weddings/ Elopements  a year!

How long have you been a photographer and are you an LLC? I’ve been behind the lens since 2010. First, shooting local bands, friends and family. Also, I went to college for Fine Art Photography and started shooting weddings/sessions for friends here and there. It wasn’t until 2014 that I started my first business, Liz Unruh Photography. We are insured + an LLC!

Do you aways have a second shooter? Yes. Unless you booked an elopement package with us or booked an associate package. With me, you will ALWAYS have a second shooter. You’ll most likely see my girl Jackie second shooting your day. She has been with me since day one, and when she’s not shooting with me, she’s rocking her own weddings as lead photographer for our associate team. 

Are destination weddings priced the same as your normal weddings? They are not. Typically, our destination weddings are approximately $2000 less than our normal package prices. However, the client is responsible for getting us there, having a place for us to stay, and for the coverage. We also capture special moments like sunset images before rehearsal dinner and stay longer for coverage.

What is an Associate team, and how does it work? Our Associate team is run by Jackie. Jackie is a long time personal friend, as well as: model, supporter, should to cry on, etc. Over the last two years she has shot stunning weddings on days where I was already booked, had been away or Ill. She carries the same professionalism and signature “Have Heart” look that we all strive for. She works hand in hand with Christine Donnelly, who I’ve also personally mentored, to provide aid and a wild second shot for Jackie. I’ve actually seen her on the ground reaching for a shot, and I LOVE it. Together they provide wedding coverage for the dates that I am unavailable. 

How many photos will I receive, and how long is that wait? You will receive any where between 1200-2000 images. Formals all receive a black and white partner, as well as other images I select. Weddings take about 5 weeks for me to edit, so you may receive your images 6-10 weeks after your wedding date.

What happens if you can not shoot our wedding due to illness, being hurt or family emergency? You can rest your mind knowing that we have 2 back up plans for every scheduled event. You will read this in the contract we send, but in the event that I am unavailable or hospitalized the day of your wedding, then a member of my team will be the first to be called to step in.

Mini Sessions

We hold Seasonal Mini sessions once or twice a year around Christmas and in the Spring/Summer. These sessions are styled and at one location where you are given a time slot and 10-15 mins of coverage for $150.00 a session. We don’t host minis often because of our schedule for weddings and full paying clients. Look our for our seasonal mini’s via Facebook, Instagram or email to book!

You can book a mini session any time in the year as you please however. We offer half hour coverage at one location which includes images delivered on a online gallery that is backed up for 10 years! A deposit of $100.00 is due the day of booking and the remaining balance of $200.00 is due the day prior or of your session.
