Chasing Sunset

Season and Timing

No matter the season you decided your wedding day to fall in it is apart of my job to deliver the same joy filled, sun kissed effortless Photos.

Although each wedding is different, due to season or weather we do what we can to make your portraits fun and memorable. I created a little cheat sheet for the brides who are still in the air for seasons and what time is best for portrait time!

Winter

December- March

During December through mid march you can plan your portrait time to take place from 3:00-5:00pm. The sun sets really early in this season! Prepare to dress warmer, incorperate fuax furs, shaws or custom jackets. Make your winter wedding with pop rich floral colors and tones!

Spring

April- May

The Sunset time dramatically changes throughout the course of these two months so our shooting time may change as well. We can plan on 5:30-7:30PM in April and 6:00-8:00PM in May. Incorporate baby’s breath, and light purples, taupes colors in your bouquet!

Summer

June- August

Summer portraits are our most comfortable times to shoot. We like to use the last 2 hours of the day in golden hour to capture the best moments. Also, its the coolest time of the day! 6:45-8:30pm is the magic time!

Fall

September- November

Sunset falls back a couple hours in the fall. So Again we plan for the best time closer to your date, In September, you can plan for 5:30-7:30 until the third week. After that we shoot for 5:00p,-7:00pm until mid October. November plants us back to 3:00-5:00PM.
